The Management Team
Andrew Harrison
Andrew Harrison is an experienced CEO and Non-Executive Director of both publicly listed and private companies, across a range of industries, including radiology and medical artificial intelligence.
He has extensive experience in capital market transactions, technology commercialisation, local and international mergers and acquisitions, and strategic restructuring and turnaround. He has substantial international experience including in European, US, and Chinese markets. Andrew Harrison also served on the Board of Enlitic LLC a world leading US based medical AI company.
Dr. Wenjie Pang PhD
Dr. Wenjie Pang built a successful career in China, researching magnetism in different forms. He has over 30 years of experience within different science and technology sectors.
He joined the University of Western Australia as a visiting research fellow in the Department of Physics. After an International Scholarship to study for his PhD and some time at the University of Colorado in the US, Dr Pang became one of the first employees of Resonance Health in 2005. Wenjie’s roles in the company have been pivotal and varied. He has been overseeing FerriScan® technology and is heavily involved in R&D projects as well as collaboration with external research partners. To make his own lifestyle more carbon neutral, he cycles to work and returns home with headwind almost on a daily basis.
Carolyn Cheer
Carolyn leads the global business development team at Resonance Health, bringing more than 25 years’ experience in clinical drug development.
Her career spans executive positions in a range of contract research businesses including CDMO, bioanalytical, central laboratory and CROs. She has led teams in business development, marketing, client services, general management and clinical operations. Carolyn is passionate in supporting biopharma clients in the development of innovative drug products.
Benjamin Carruthers
Benjamin Carruthers has over 20 years of experience in advisory, restructuring and turnaround in listed and private entities across a range of industries including mining and resources, services, retail, manufacturing, aquaculture and marine, education and training, and franchising.
Having commenced and spent most of his career in the chartered accounting environment, he was an Executive Director at KordaMentha which is a leading national advisory and investment firm focused on assisting clients throughout their lifecycle. He has extensive experience in M&A transactions, due diligence, modelling, and financial management.
Narelle Mounsey
Narelle is an accomplished HR leader with 20 years of experience in managing people and culture across various industries. She has successfully led HR teams in Australia, Indonesia, and the USA, and is also a certified coach and facilitator.
Narelle has been with Resonance Health for over three years and is dedicated to building high-performing teams.
Muhammad Hassnain
Muhammad has over 7 years’ experience in the medical device manufacturing industry, with a focus on Project Management, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance.
He has previously project-managed the successful redevelopment of a single-use sterile medical device while meeting and exceeding all quality and regulatory requirements. He joined the Resonance Health team in 2022 and has taken steps to identify and implement a number of critical changes to ensure continued high-quality standards across all areas of the organisation. Currently, Muhammad leads the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs team.
Chad Tondut
Chad Tondut is a communications professional with over 15 years’ experience in corporate communication, digital marketing, and product development and strategy.
Chad joined Resonance Health in early 2017, and is now overseeing the development and innovation of the company’s manual and automated (AI) medical devices.
Jun Chai
Jun brings 10 years of experience in research and product development, as well as operations in the personal care industry. Jun joined Resonance in 2018, bringing with her a background in Nanotechnology Science (Hons) along with a varied skillset in manufacturing.
Jun became the Service Centre Manager in early 2022. Leading a team of 12, she now oversees all operational activities, including MRI diagnostic image analyses services for over 200 MRI centres per year. She inspires a strong passion in ensuring the highest quality of services and results, upholding the interests of all clinicians and patients.
Scientific Management Team

Dr. Tim St Pierre PhD
Dr. St Pierre, led the team which developed the original FerriScan®, FerriSmart®, and HepaFat-Scan® technologies at Resonance Health. He has strong links with international key opinion leaders in the field of iron overload and fatty liver disease.
Dr. St Pierre has published over 200 peer reviewed research papers and regularly participates in international research collaborations. In 2010, he won the Clunies Ross Award from the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering, in 2015 the Ernst and Young Western Region Entrepreneur of the Year Award and in 2016 the Panos Englezos Prize from the Thalassaemia International Federation for his contribution to the improvement of health for patients with thalassaemia. He currently holds an honorary Senior Research Fellowship at The University of Western Australia and is our Chief Research Scientist.
The Board
Dr. Martin Blake
Dr. Martin Blake is a Radiologist and Nuclear Medicine Specialist and brings a wealth of technical and industry experience to Resonance Health.
He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, holding directorships on several private and public company boards and was chairman of Perth Radiological Clinic from 2009-21. Dr Blake is a business development professional graduated from the University of Melbourne – Melbourne Business School, is a practicing radiologist, has over 20 years of experience and insight into healthcare M&A, and brings skills in innovation and technology commercialisation.
Mitchell Wells
Mitchell is an experienced senior executive and a qualified lawyer with commercial and legal experience in Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom.
He has served as a director and worked as a senior executive of listed public and private companies including ASX and Nasdaq listed companies. He has international management experience in several industries, including as project manager and lawyer for AEG Europe and The O2 in London, UK. Prior to that, he was legal counsel for London 2012 which successfully bid to host the 2012 Olympic Games. He holds Bachelor degrees in Law and Commerce and a Diploma of Aviation. He joined Resonance Health in 2017 as legal consultant. He has served as Chair of two not-for-profit organisations.
Simon Panton
Simon has been a major shareholder of Resonance Health since 2008 and joined the board in 2009, as he is a strong believer in liver health technologies.
He started and ran his own successful small business for over 15 years and brings skills in business and marketing. He has experience in the property industry, financial markets, and the acquisition and disposal of investments. He currently manages assets and projects associated within family holdings and was a previous Non-Executive Director of 4DS Ltd.
Dr. Travis Baroni PhD
Dr. Travis Baroni has broad experience across different sectors: industrial research, commercialisation of technology, asset valuations, and investment banking services.
He has been a manager of innovation development and technology strategy in a large company setting, as well as an active investor in early-stage investments. He has worked in investment banking, providing advisory services to equity capital market transactions, corporate research, and valuations to clients.
Aaron Brinkworth
Aaron had a 22-year career with Gilead Sciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: GILD) (Gilead) during which time the company grew from a small biotech-pharma company to a multi-billion-dollar global company with annual sales of over USD $27 billion.
He held several commercial, licensing, and patient access roles at Gilead, including that of Executive Director – Global Patient Solutions, where he was responsible for commercial and access strategies for emerging markets. He led Gilead’s commercial and access operations in the Asia Pacific (APAC) where he managed a geographically dispersed team and partners across 31 APAC countries including China, India, and Vietnam. He completed their Snr Leadership Development Program and was recognised with multiple awards. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from Edith Cowan University, and has served on the Board of the Royal Surf Lifesaving Society of Western Australia since 2020. He is a graduate of the AICD Company Directors course and maintains active membership of the AICD.
